Jon Rex Gray, M.T.S., C.L.C.-S., C.P.C.-i., Director of Publications and Productions

Dr. Larry Gilliam is presently Executive Director of Dayspring Counseling Services and Dayspring Institute for Training and Development.  Both agencies are headquartered in Irving, Texas, with satellite offices in other locations.  He has recently teamed with three experienced professional associates to offer specialized services, training, and resources to ministers, their families and their staffs.

Dr. Gilliam has more than 35 years of experience as a counselor and educator, and more than 50 years of experience in ministry.  He has practiced in a variety of settings, including churches, schools, colleges, universities, family counseling centers, clinics, and psychiatric hospitals.  He is presently Chairman of the Pastoral Advisory Council for the Christian Counselors of Texas.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences, retreats, seminars, churches, and professional meetings.  He is known for the effective use of music, humor, and “homespun illustrations” in his presentations.  He is an author, composer, musician, and host of the talk radio program, “Choices.”

He holds a Bachelors degree in education and Bible, a Masters degree in Counseling, a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Psychology, and two Ph.D. degrees in related fields of Counseling.

Rex serves Dayspring as the Director of Publications and Productions. He also oversees the online training program. Rex is an ordained minister with thirty years experience as a pastor and educator. He also holds a Masters Degree in theological studies.
